Our cloth face masks are made to the same high standard as our Punching Pad Socks so you can expect both quality and durability. They are made using 100% cotton fabrics which have been preshrunk and are washable. The cloth face mask has three layers of fabric : both outside layers are a tight weave cotton print with a middle layer of double nap cotton flannel. We use the Olson Mask pattern which includes a pocket for inserting a PM2.5 filter. The elastic sits in a casing which allows you to replace the elastic when worn out or to insert cording. The elastic ear loops have sliding toggles so you can make adjustments for a perfect fit. We offer three color options : pink with multi-colored dots, navy, plaid, and we are offering a "Surprise Me!" option. The masks are reversible (white background with beige/green needles) for when you want a change.
The cost is $20 per mask, but if you are ordering a set of Punching Pad Socks you will receive a mask free of charge. Simply add your choice to your cart and the cost will be automatically adjusted. It is our way of saying thank you. Please note : The cancer cell punching pad socks are available for immediate shipment but customized punching pad socks may take up to 10 days due to the customizing element. This will affect when your mask arrives. Shipping is free for the mask or the punching pad socks or the two combined.
In making these cloth face masks, we have been guided by the advice from the CDC and a number of hospital websites, as well as the research carried out by Dr. Scott Segal of Wake Forest Baptist Health and the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine.* Please note that these are not medical grade and will not protect you from the coronavirus, but may help prevent the spread of COVID-19 should the wearer be asymptomatic. It is important to note this piece of information! If we all wear a face mask in public, then we all make strides in protecting each other. Social distancing, not touching your face, and washing your hands frequently remain key activities in slowing the spread.
Cloth face masks should be washed upon receipt and after every use. Thoroughly dry before using again.
